Before his official role as editor-in-cheif of British Vogue begins in August, Edward Enninful has appointed an array of stars as contributing editors to the publication. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell & Steve McQueen have all been appointed, as well as former creative director of American Vogue, Grace Coddington. “I am thrilled that Kate, Naomi, Steve and Grace are going to work with us in these new roles,” Enninful said. “As two of the biggest international style influencers and supermodels, the impact Naomi and Kate have in today’s culture is enormous. Being an acclaimed filmmaker and Turner Prize-winning artist, Steve will bring an increased depth to the arts within the magazine”. Edward is the first male editor in the magazines 101 year history. Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, praised the new editor as “forward-thinking, innovative, commercially astute and a true revolutionary when it comes to his ideas on what fashion should be”.
